GNIT Members Meditates Word of God Together
GNIT had a time to worship and meditate on the word of God together as GNIT members.
Chloe led an intercessory prayer, offering heartfelt thanks to God for allowing the time to take place with GNIT members gathered in unity. She prayed for the guidance of the Holy Spirit, asking that every service and program throughout the worship would unfold according to God’s providence and plan.
The opening message was delivered by Victor, who preached from 1 Corinthians 9:19-23. He reflected on the life of Jesus Christ and how the Apostle Paul followed the Lord’s path by embracing both the freedom given by sacrifice of the Lord and the call to become a servant to many.
He encouraged IT professionals to remember the freedom granted to them through the sacrifice of Christ and to interpret all IT members’ life, why, in response, they might choose to become “slaves to many.” He emphasized that this act of self-denial and self-lowing is not a loss, but a true love to win as many souls as possible.
In closing, he urged attendees to walk the path of the cross through humility and self-emptying, following the example of Jesus, who lived as a slave of all, but for the salvation of all. He reminded them not to forget their identity as people endowed with infinite freedom, yet willing to become all things to all people for the sake of saving even one more soul.
